About us

Eurocultura (founded 1993) is a research, training and career counselling organization based in Vicenza, a town of 113.000 inhabitants located in the northeast of Italy, between Verona and Venice.

Our key competences are mainly related to labour market and training issues. Our projects and activities are aimed to improve the employability of people through training and valuable work experiences abroad, the promotion of entrepreneurship, the promotion of international mobility of students and workers, the prevention and fight against racism and prejudices, the growth in use of new technologies in learning activities.

At local and national level Eurocultura co-operates with institutions (municipalities, labour offices, health departments…), universities, vocational training centres, trade unions, chambers of commerce, employer organizations and NGOs. At international level, we are part of a vast network of organizations dealing with the European dimension in training, education, social issues and culture.

Our multilingual and international staff have experience of work and/or study abroad and a social, educational, linguistic, psychological and IT academic background.

Our main activities:

International educational projects focused on issues as vocational training, career counselling, employment, youth, migrants, women, granted by different European Programs. We are involved in research activities on issues as VET, migrants, racism and xenophobia, equal opportunities, labour market trends etc. Topics of recent researches: quality management in transnational training activities, informal language learning, biographical work for immigrants, competence assessment of disadvantaged persons, entrepreneurship education. Mobility projects in Vicenza-Italy in the framework of European or national mobility programs, we host over 250 trainees per year for periods from 3 weeks up to 6 months. After an initial Italian language and intercultural course, the trainees are placed according to their professional competence in local companies.  Click here to know more about our mobility activities.

Study visits and training courses for foreign staff through our Italian network of public bodies, no profit organizations and SMEs – from Early Child care, Elderly care and Inclusion to Hospitality management, VET-system and Electromobility – offering a deep understanding of the “Italian way of doing” with workshops, company visits, lectures and discussions with experts. Training activities on commission of academic institutions, high schools and vocational training centres, youth information centres, no-profit organizations, social partners and public employment offices we deliver training services, lectures and seminars focused on the issue of international mobility for end-users.
Train the trainer: we deliver training seminars for career services officers, aimed to improve their professional knowledges and competences in career guidance with an international perspective.

Career services we provide client-designed career advice and guidance to people seeking an experience abroad to implement their professional and personal skills in an international environment. Career advice and guidance is delivered face-to-face or by means of IT communication tools.

Employers Branding and Recruiting for companies, organisations and territories from abroad Eurocultura offer personalized promotion activities in Italy (e.g. media coverage, stand on career fairs and InfoDay). Eurocultura also assists companies in search and preparation of qualified staff from Italy.

Our publications cover a wide range of mobility topics like career advice, training and studying abroad, vacancies, voluntary work. Our newsletters Muoversi (weekly) and inGermania (monthly) have more than 35.000 subscribers.
