Italy has a great and long tradition in hospitality, being among the most attractive and visited tourist destinations in the world.
The staff required to manage these large flows of Italian and international tourists has an excellent basic vocational training, obtained in technical training schools.
Innovative approaches are applied in the training both of kitchen-, room- and reception staff (chefs, maître, receptionists) and of commercial or administrative positions (event management, marketing, administration, back office), in order to ensure a high level of learning.
Institutions specialized in lifelong learning provide professional updating for people who already have a job.
Italy is therefore the perfect destination for a study visit in the framework of vocational training and education in hospitality.
Deeper knowledge and comparison to Italian expertsIn addition to meetings and visits, which take place in Vicenza, Verona and Venice, the study tour offers relaxing moments for exploring the beauty of the places.
The program of the study visit is organized according to the needs of the participants (e.g. teachers, company tutors, entrepreneurs, vocational training centers managers) and is designed to give participants a 360-degree overview of the Italian situation.
It can also be an excellent opportunity to establish contacts with Vicenza training centres directors in order to start a transnational cooperation.
The methodologies and contents concern:

The program includes both visits to training centres, technical institutes, tourist offices, companies and meetings with representatives of social partners (business associations, trade unions) and local government policy.
Program and duration of the study visit can be adapted to different requirements (minimum 2 days).
Qualified organization and experienced speakers
Eurocultura has been realizing international mobility programs since 1993. The hospitality industry has always been one of the reference points both in mobility programs for students, teachers and professionals.
Thus, Eurocultura has an extensive and well-established network of relationships with schools, public and private institutions, governments, trade associations, companies and professionals.
Speakers involved in the study visit are experienced professionals from gastronomy, accommodation, tourist boards, but also directors of hospitality schools and training centres, public authorities and unions manager.
They all have a deep knowledge of Italian tradition and, at the same time, they are keen with innovative approaches and an international vision since they are used to operate with foreign customers, they travel and are involved in European projects.
